Day 1: Frankfurt - Rothenburg (B)

Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the Spessart mountains to Würzburg, on the banks of the river Main. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg o.d.T., Germany’s well-preserved "Jewel of the Middle Ages" with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church) with an altar by the famous wood-carver Tilman Riemenschneider. Upon arrival in Rothenburg, a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon or evening please join the city walk with local guide or historic Night Watchman in Rothenburg. Overnight at Hotel Spitzweg.

Day 2: Rothenburg - Munich (B)

Morning free. In the early afternoon a taxi will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bus stop. Your coach drives along the Romantic Road passing such picturesque places as Dinkelsbühl, Nördlingen and Donauwörth, with high-gabled houses and cobbled streets. Via Augsburg, a metropolis during the Roman times and famous for old trade dynasties during the Middle Ages, you reach Munich, where your tour ends at approx. 8p.m.

Reverse itinerary:

Tour ends in Frankfurt at approx. 8:30 pm.
