Day 1: Frankfurt - Heidelberg

Depart Frankfurt by train for Heidelberg, the old university town on the banks of the river Neckar. Taxi transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon short city walk with local guide including a visit to the inner courtyard of the Heidelberg Castle. Overnight at Hotel Hollaender Hof or similar.

Day 2: Heidelberg - Rothenburg (B)

In the morning a taxi will meet you at your hotel and take you to the departure point of your coach. Enjoy a picturesque drive through the Odenwald Mountains, along the Castle Road. Via Heilbronn and Langenburg you reach Rothenburg o.d.T., Germany’s well-preserved "Jewel of the Middle Ages" with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church) with an altar by the famous wood-carver T. Riemenschneider. Upon arrival in Rothenburg, a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the evening join the city walk with Rothenburg’s historical Night Watchman. Overnight at Hotel Spitzweg or similar.

Day 3: Rothenburg - Hohenschwangau (B)

Morning free. In the early afternoon a taxi will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bus stop. Your coach drives along the Romantic Road passing such picturesque places as Dinkelsbühl, Nördlingen and Donauwörth, with high-gabled houses and cobbled streets. Via Augsburg, a metropolis during the Roman times and famous for old trade dynasties during the Middle Ages, you reach Hohenschwangau (Fussen). Overnight at Hotel Muller.

Day 4: Hohenschwangau - Munich (B)

In the morning pick up your entrance tickets for the Neuschwanstein Castle at the front desk of your hotel and visit the famous "Cinderella Castle", built by King Ludwig II. In the late afternoon proceed to Munich, where tour ends at approx. 7p.m.

Reverse itinerary:

Includes additionally a visit to Linderhof Castle. Tour ends in Frankfurt at approx. 7 pm.
